Diego Safari Rescue – the best Wii Kids Game Yet

Sure, Nintendo (and especially the Wii) has always favored kids. But still there really haven’t been many (or any) really good Wii games for smaller kids say ages 3-6.

That changes with Go Diego Go Safari Rescue.

Diego (if you’ve been living under a rock or don’t have small kids) is Dora the Explorer’s cousin and a mega kids show.

The Wii game is essentially based on one Diego episode – the Safari Rescue – letting kids play along with the episode’s plot.

But instead of just pushing a button – with the Wii they get to do the actions. Like waving your hand to say No Bobbos! or moving your arms in a swimming motion to cross a lake, or a pushing motion to shake a tree.

And it’s all so easy that a 3 year old could do it.

It’s a simple game – sure. And it can be completed end to end in a few hours, but for the little ones in your gaming household this will keep them busy for a very long time.

We bought this at retail for $39.99. Pricing on eBay has been consistently about $25 to $40. RSS

Rating: for kids – 5 stars
